In Singapore, the monthly maid levy for hiring a migrant domestic worker (MDW) is as follows: First helper: S$300; Subsequent helpers: S$450; Concessionary rate: S$60 (for families with a young child, elderly member, or person with a disability). Can maid travel overseas without employer?

Yes, a migrant domestic worker (MDW) or domestic helper in Singapore can travel overseas without their employer, but there are specific requirements and procedures to follow including ensuring that your MDW has a valid passport and work permit card and if her embassy has any specific requirements. How to renew Indonesian maid passport in Singapore?

To renew an Indonesian maid passport in Singapore, you need to firstly make an appointment with the Indonesian Embassy's website. Thereafter, prepare necessary documents such as the PERDIM 11 Form, Employer's IC, Helper's current passport, and passport sized photographs. Visit the embassy at 7 Chatsworth Road, Singapore 249761 on the scheduled date to submit the documents. You will be required to make payment of $38 at the embassy. Follow the embassy's instructions for collecting the renewed passport. How to renew domestic helper work permit?

You need to ensure that the following steps are completed before the current Work Permit expires to avoid any penalties. MOM will send you a renewal letter about 8 weeks before the Work Permit expires, so do keep a look out for that. Do ensure your helper undergoes a medical examination and is certified fit to work, and you will be required to purchase a new medical and personal accident insurance policy. After renewing the Security Bond, Login to MOM's eService Portal to submit the renewal application and upload the required documents. Pay the renewal fee of $35 via the website and you are good to go!

How to apply home leave for Indonesian maid?

To apply home leave for your Indonesian helper in Singapore, ensure that your helper has completed at least two years of continuous employment with you. Prepare necessary documents such as valid passport with at least six months of validity, valid work permit card, and KTKLN Card. Thereafter, make an appointment and visit the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore where you willl be guided through the application process there. Book her travel tickets and keep a copy of the itinerary. In order to ensure she can re-enter Singapore, do ensure she carries her Work Permit Card and passport when she travels.

How to open POSB account for domestic helper?

To apply home leave for your Indonesian helper in Singapore, ensure that your helper has completed at least two years of continuous employment with you. Address conflicts with your domestic helper calmly and respectfully. Communicate your concerns and try to reach a mutual understanding. If the conflict persists, seek mediation assistance from your employment agency or MOM.
